Pengaruh Pemberian KurmaAjwa (Phoenix dactylifera) terhadap Perubahan Tekanan Darah Ibu Hamil Hipertensi

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyumbang kematian kedua ibu hamil di Indonesia setelah perdarahan. Kejadiannya masih meningkat setiap tahun.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian kurma Ajwa terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada ibu hamil yang hipertensi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperiment dengan pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian adalah semua ibu hamil di RSIA Masyita dan Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi Kota Makassar. Sebanyak 40 orang ibu hamil dibagi menjadi dua kelompok intervensi, masingmasing 20 orang kelompok perlakuan dan 20 orang kelompok intervensi. Kelompok intervensi diberikan kurma Ajwa selama 30 hari dengan dosis 7 butir/hari (100 gr/hari), sedangkan kelompok kontrol diberikan penyuluhan nutrisi ibu hamil. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Samples Test dan uji Independent Samples Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah pemberian kurma Ajwa pada kelompok intervensi, baik pada tekanan darah sistol maupun diastol. Sementara pada kelompok perlakuan, diperoleh hasil tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah diedukasi tentang nutrisi kehamilan. Disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian kurma Ajwa terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada ibu hamil yang hipertensi, sehingga disarankan pada ibu hamil rutin mengkonsumsi kurma Ajwa agar terhindar dari hipertensi kehamilan, dimulai saat trimester kedua kehamilan.
